"SHARKS IN THE PARK"

Tilden Park, Berkeley, CA
Saturday - April 28th, 2001

WHAT: Sharks, Sharks, and more Sharks, supplemented by food.
WHEN: 10 AM Begin arriving
12 Noon Lunch - Ribs, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, salads and sodas.  Ribs donated by 928 owner Allan Mochwart of Ring's Restaurant in San Rafael (415-479-1623).
2 PM Fun ride.  A one-hour (or less) 50-mile circular route touring back roads of Contra Costa County, returning to the picnic area.  So, your companions can stay at the picnic area until we return about 3PM if they choose, while you exercise your right foot.  Ride maps will be distributed at the event.

928 Owners - bring your cars!  We have lots of parking!  Prospective 928 owners - please contact Bill Ball (email).

There are a variety of ways to enter the park depending on your origin.  Once in the park, look for directions to the Brazil Building.  The map below highlights the Island picnic area, just northwest of the Brazil Building.

DONATION: $5 per person or $10 for the entire family to offset site reservation charge and some of the food.
