Special Notice
Hi, this is Bill.  Bill's Workshop has been idle for about almost 6 years.  I'm still at Creative Labs, although no longer working in the graphics area.  I left the workshop up as an inactive archive, in particular for people with Banshee video cards who needed access to the good ole Unofficial Banshee Guide.  Well, the guide is still here and I will leave it up, even though I'm sure many of the links are broken and the information is seriously outdated.  There's nothing really new on the Banshee front, although I know a lot of unofficial drivers have been developed.  Please go to www.voodoofiles.com to finds whatever there is new about the Banshee.  I think the Banshee is about to disappear as it ran out of steam with Direct X 8 a couple of years ago.  Games running under DX8 don't seem to do well on the Banshee.  Until about 2 years ago we had a Banshee in my son's system, but I no longer could work around issues with the new Dx8 games.  So, out it came.

I've had to terminate the old discussion group and will be stripping most of the features from the home page except the link to the Banshee Guide.

Best wishes to all my old Banshee friends and contributors who helped me to develop the guide over 6 years ago.  In its brief run it accomplished a lot, becoming the primary information source for Banshee related issues, ultimately (actually very quickly) landing me a job in the industry with Creative Labs.
